An abduction occurs where a child has been taken overseas without the other parent’s consent.  This is a criminal offence under UK law.  We appreciate the distress this can cause to the parent left behind and the difficulties associated with abduction.  Above all we understand the need to often act quickly.  Within our team we have solicitors who specialise in work in this field and can provide advice, information and support to parents, family members and guardians who have had a child abducted or who fear a child is to be abducted.  Two of our team are members of “Reunite” which is a UK charity specialising in international parent child abduction cases.
