As a business we recognise that we should give something back to and participate in the community in which we operate. We must address issues of global warming as they are no longer theoretical issues but now real problems that we can all impact on.

   
McMillan Williams' crime department is sponsoring the Jamie Lawrence Football Academy who offer a twelve week programme where students attend the programme one day a week for the duration of the course.
 
McMillan Williams is taking a corporate table at a Black Tie Charity Caribbean Ball on 20th October 2007 in aid of Sickle Cell Anaemia, organised by our clients Alexander Stewart Locations based in London SW1. 
       
 
On 12th July 2007, McMillan Williams sponsored a staff team of keen would-be Greg Normans who attended a charity Golf Day in West Sussex in aid of BIRT and raised £350 towards a total £11,000 raised on the day. 
 

McMillan Williams arranged for United Business Machines to donate a colour photocopier to Headway charity in Surrey and we are also donating 10 cleaned computers from our ex stock to Headway in West Sussex.

 
McMillan Williams staff together raised a magnificent £230 in September 2007, sponsoring partner Nicola Manning’s son Simon, who walked 100 miles in 4 days from the Eden Project in Cornwall, to the centre of Exeter.
             
 
 
MW staff “donned their denim” on 5th October 2007 and raised a total of £185  for annual Jeans for Genes day, funding research into genetic disorders affecting children.
   
The Law Society, DLA Piper and Business in the Community (BiTC) have joined forces with law firms and in-house counsel from around the country to encourage the legal profession to commit to environmental sustainability.
 

The Foundation is dedicated to improving policy and practice for children and young people in need. Since research shows the best outcomes for children depend on multi-disciplinary work, the Foundation encourages multi-agency collaboration.
