Anne McGregor
Financial Controller
Anne McGregor (FCCA) is a qualified accountant with over 20 years experience of working within the Legal profession.
Anne started her legal career with the pre merged firm of Denton Wilde Sapte where she stayed for several years. She has since worked at other solicitors' firms and also at commercial firms involved in the footwear business and construction.
Anne has covered a variety of roles in her career including Partnership Secretary, Office Manager, Human Resources and Practice Management which she feels compliments her current position of Financial Controller at McMillan Williams.
The Financial Controller role incorporates ensuring that the firm adhere to the Law Society rules, all management reporting, running an Accounts department of 6, overseeing debt collection/credit control, statutory reporting, training, branch visits and working closely with the management team in strategic and long term planning decisions.
In her spare time Anne is treasurer to a young people’s charity and also the assistant treasurer to a church.
Anne is a linguist and speaks French, German and Spanish. She enjoys foreign travel, socialising with family and friends, theatre visits and live concerts.
