John-Paul MacNamara

John-Paul (or JP as he is affectionately known) completed his LLB law degree at Kings College London before completing his LLM Masters degree in law at University College London, specialising in Criminology and Criminal Justice.
JP first worked for McMillan Williams as a paralegal from September 2005 – December 2006 and since that time has continued to work for McMillan Williams as a police station legal representative – representing clients at the police station for a wide variety of offences ranging in seriousness from shoplifting and common assault to rape, armed robbery and money laundering. JP has also worked as part of the defence team on a number of murder trials over the years, which have garnered substantial coverage in the national media.
JP completed his Bar Vocational Course with the Inns of Court School of Law in May 2008. He is extremely popular with clients, due to is friendly and personable nature, coupled with his tenacious style of representation.
Outside of work he enjoys singing with his church choir and is an avid fan of WWE Wrestling.
